Product Description

*** Only one workshop per month ***

Glazes enhance the beauty of ceramics and increase their artistic value. Glazing artists are the creators who dress ceramics in new attire.

Apart from the joy of working with clay, the "uncertainty" of glazes captivates many. This is because even with the same raw materials, the final outcome can be influenced by the proportions of mixed materials, temperature, glazing methods, and types of kilns. This activity is designed for children aged 4 and above, aiming to provide hands-on involvement to deeply understand the charm and craftsmanship of ceramic glazes.

1. Unmask the Mysteries of Glazes: Parents and children will explore the magical world of glaze materials together, learn about different glazing methods, and discover the enchanting meeting of fire and minerals, unveiling the mysteries of glazes.

2. Painting Bisque Ware: Under the guidance of an experienced glazing artist, participants will be involved in the entire process from selecting glaze colors to applying the glaze on ceramics, and complete their own glazed ceramic art pieces. This is not only an opportunity for artistic creation but also a perfect chance to develop children's motor skills, creativity, and aesthetic sense.

3. Wheel-Throwing Experience: In the final segment of the workshop, participants will experience the fun and challenge of wheel throwing. Although this is just an experience without taking home any finished pieces, it aims to let everyone appreciate the beauty of "uncertainty" in pottery!

4. Firing and Exclusive Keepsake: All glazed works will be fired at the ceramic factory, and participants will receive their exclusive artworks within 4-6 weeks.
